Our first On-Call Angel case from RedRover: “Sassenach is a stunning Siberian husky who needed urgent surgery to treat terribly infected pellet gun fragments under her skin that had created a huge abscess pocket. Her mom, who had adopted Sassenach only two months earlier, reached out for help affording the lifesaving procedure.“
And the update from her mom: “Hello! I just wanted to send a quick update on our Sassenach girl— she is doing great! The drains came out and there has been no new swelling or other signs of trouble. She is clearly feeling so much better! She is her usual energetic, mischievous self again, getting the zoomies every day. The staples are still in, so we are careful to keep her activity to a minimum, but we are all very excited for the day she’ll be able to do all the running and playing she wants. Thank you for your help in getting us here!”
