We grant funding primarily to animal shelters with programs that provide:
Intake diversion, including:
- emergency boarding
- fencing and other safety measures
- licensing fees
- low-cost spay/neuter/microchip/vaccine clinics
- pet deposits
- pet food banks
- reclamation fees
- training
- veterinary services (select)
Community cat TNR
Creating pet-friendly domestic violence and homeless shelters
Foster/hospice
Return-to-home (lost pet reunification)
Lifesaving transport
Adoption fee sponsorships
Specialty programs for seniors and pets with disabilities
In some cases*, we can also provide small grants to service providers on demand for specific clients, when the client has exhausted all other resources and they believe their only option is to surrender their pet(s). If you are in need, contact your local shelter or veterinarian, and if they are able to provide the services you need, they can contact us to help you apply for partial or full funding from us.
