“Bree and her cat Mimi were just starting over after a tough time when Mimi developed a life-threatening hairball obstruction. Surgery was going to cost thousands, and even with a generous discount from her veterinarian, Bree couldn’t afford it without risking her housing. Thankfully, Bree found the Keeping Cats in Homes Fund at Cat Adoption Team. Through this fund, CAT was able to help cover the cost of Mimi’s care. Mimi got the surgery she needed, and Bree has peace of mind knowing she and her kitty can stay together. Bree shared, “Mimi is healing up beautifully… and is full of joy to be feeling well again.”
