September, 2026: I have been remiss about our latest Happy Tail from RedRover!! This story is the result of a woman, her child, and their dog, being able to escape the domestic violence situation they were in. Our donation to the Safe Escape program helped pay for the dog’s boarding while mom and child found safety. This is what the grant meant to them:
“It meant a lot to the client to be able to find safety from the abuser and take her emotional support animal with her. Thanks to the grant, our client was able to have her animal in a safe location and away from the abuse the animal also endured. The client was able to focus on her and her child’s safety and housing knowing her dog was in good care.”
